Seven new EXTRA belts for mild-hybrid models with BSG

10.01.2024

Today’s mild-hybrid models with a BSG unit require belts capable of performing to the highest standards. Pulling away, braking, automatic stopping and restarting, recuperating energy – these frequent changes of driving mode result in high peak loads, enormous tensile forces, and dynamic changes of load direction in both torque directions. The standard drive belts usually fitted soon reach their limits under these conditions, which is why we are constantly expanding our range of top-quality EXTRA belts. These have been engineered specifically for this type of use and have special material properties to make them extremely robust.
